Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and maintaining individual learning plans based on learner assessments, needs and job training goals. Conduct in-classroom instruction or utilize online platforms, as necessary to conduct classes and maintain communication with students. Develop and document materials, curriculum and resources to be deployed in facilitation of learner assessments, needs and job training goals. Provide academic counseling and referral as needed. Conduct on-going evaluations of progress of learners using practice TABE Tests or Workkeys. Maintain accurate attendance records and student progress notes. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences or related field, and one to three years of previous teaching experience with adults and/or youth, preferably in Adult Basic Education or Adult Secondary Education in a community-based setting required. Familiarity with MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Curriculum Frameworks and College and Career Readiness Standards preferred. TABE Certification preferred. Must have demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design, curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
