Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in administering the policies and procedures of the agency and the department, with a focus on HR project management, technology, staff training and development, and employee relations. Support the daily operations of the HR department using comprehensive knowledge of benefits, compensation, employee relations, HR management systems, and recruitment. Oversee special projects within the HR department, both as an individual contributor and as a member of a team. Oversee the daily operations of the performance management system, ensuring staff are evaluated on time. Prepare the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements for the HR department. Develop and maintain data tracking systems and plans, making recommendations on areas of success or concern. Perform outreach to staff and managers, and respond to training and professional development requests, in collaboration with department heads. Develop, implement and maintain training, professional development and team building programs for staff and managers. Collaborate with agency staff to implement employee engagement wellness initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field with three to five years of progressively developing responsibilities within a Human Resources environment required. Must have strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office and database management. Ability to maintain up to date knowledge of compliance and legal issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
