Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing systems and resources to address education and training barriers for low-to middle-skilled parents participating in the Strengthen Working Families Initiative. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, assist program participants navigate the complex childcare system and facilitate access to childcare resources specific to their individual needs. Develop a library of resources and systems manuals for participants, and provide training and one-on-one support. Ensure that customer services are accessible, customer centered, customer driven, and timely, and provide customer options and choices. Interview prospective program enrollees and assess abilities, and maintain and update client folders. Work closely with the Work Family Services Coordinator to streamline systems and resources. Supervise the maintenance of academic records, Individual Service Strategy forms, and assist in the case management of students, working with appropriate center staff to ensure the quality of the intake and assessment process, as well as the accuracy of student records and progress reports. Establish strategic partnership(s) with key peers in Boston area industry sector organizations employment and training organizations. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with one to three years of experience in the childcare field required. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of working with a diverse customer base, knowledge of Boston’s neighborhoods, and familiarity with local childcare business. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
