Responsible for ensuring that food arrives to the assigned locations in a safe and appropriate manner, that children receive nutritious meals in a timely manner and that the prevention of foodborne illnesses is of the highest priority. Deliver supplies to sites as needed. Store food and equipment appropriately in an organized manner both in the vehicle as well as at the program. Return food containers to the kitchen daily. Maintain established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation. Conduct inventory, complete food temperature log, and deliver food to classrooms. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and up to twelve months of experience required. Active ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain a ServSafe certification within the first six months of employment also required. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be flexible, prompt and reliable. Valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance and a good driving record required. Must be able to provide one’s own transportation. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
