Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all IT daily operations including, implementation of procedures, and industry best practices, the configuration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure encompassing internet connectivity and networks, computers/servers/hardware, software systems, applications and data centers, directly supervise the help desk systems and staff. Duties include assisting in planning for future growth, assisting in the planning and implementation of data projects, collaborate in the development and implementation of an agency-wide training program, and serving as an additional Network/Systems Administrator. Assist in the design, maintenance and testing of technical solutions. Manage the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. Manage the IT back-up systems from procedural review to testing and disaster recovery. Monitor, evaluate and correct outages to the LAN/WAN, firewall, Active Directory, and Windows server services. Manage technical staff and serve as second-tier support. Manage, maintain and create detailed documentation, diagrams, and procedures to maintain and support the network infrastructure, new and existing software products. Share acquired skills with staff through formal and informal channels. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent coursework in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of experience as a network/systems administrator or solution architect required. Microsoft MCSE/MCTS/MCITP certification ideal. Must have experience administering, creating, and implementing security policies and procedures. Experience supporting highly available Windows Server environments. In-depth experience with VMWare infrastructure. Experience developing, maintaining and testing disaster recovery plans and strategies. Well-versed in enterprise-level backup technologies and services. Must also have experience supporting cloud based antivirus products, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LDAP, and SNMP. Strong background with SonicWALL, Cisco and Meraki firewalls, switches and VPN products. Strong background in Windows client operating systems and mastery of the Microsoft Business productivity suite. Strong ability to set goals and realistic time-lines. Efficiently communicate with technical and non-technical staff. Ability to effectively delegate tasks and assign project responsibilities and motivate staff to achieve positive results. Assume responsibilities for the outcome of technology-related projects and facilitate an innovative and dynamic work environment where new ideas are actively encouraged. Responsible for helping agency leadership incorporate technology into ABCD’s overall strategic visions. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
