Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing individual and group level sexuality education with a focus on HIV and STI prevention and community outreach, including developing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with community groups. Successfully complete required trainings and in-service education as required by program and funder. Conduct outreach to increase awareness of program services and sexual health care needs of the target population at community events and health and cultural festivals. Assist in developing and maintaining outreach materials and social media content. Assess reproductive health and sexuality educational needs of community members through direct contact with community and agency staff. Work with Program Coordinator to tailor curriculum to meet participant needs. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to twelve months of related experience, or equivalent combination of direct work experience and/or training is required. Demonstrated interest and/or experience with facilitating individual and group level sessions. Demonstrated knowledge of sexual health issues; including STI and HIV/AIDS prevention and general reproductive health and/or experience working with adolescents and young adults in and out of school. Experience working with communities of color. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Bilingual skills as needed, preferably in Spanish and Haitian-Creole. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

Please note: this position is part-time for 10 hours per week and is temporary through June 30, 2019. Continued employment is contingent upon receipt of additional funding.
