Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Human Resources reception area, which includes assisting and directing job applicants and visitors, telephone coverage, department mail, and the logging of paperwork. Support all functional areas of the Human Resources department. Provide coverage of the HR reception area and main phone line(s). Perform electronic logging and assist in database input and maintenance for all functions within the HR Department as well as follow up on missing information. Setup and maintain accurate and complete files of HR documents. Support the processing of all personnel actions and employment verifications, as needed. Assist in the intake and completion of HR forms, such as CORI requests and I-9 forms, as needed. Maintain appropriate level of HR supplies. Distribute HR mail daily, and sort and distribute payroll. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with one year of relevant experience in a busy office environment required. Ability to manage multiple phone lines. Demonstrated working knowledge of databases, and Microsoft Word and Excel Office applications. Strong attention to detail, organizational, multitasking, and planning skills. Bilingual skills, as needed. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
