Action for Boston Community Development is a nonprofit human services organization that each year provides more than 100,000 low income residents in the Greater Boston region with the tools and resources needed to transition from poverty to stability and from stability to success. 

Child Care Choices of Boston offers support, resources, technical assistance, training and childcare expertise to families, childcare providers, employers and the larger community. The Provider Services Specialist implements the provider contract and resource aspects of the CCCB child care voucher management.

Duties Include:

• Provide technical assistance, and support to providers participating in the child care voucher program.
• Ensure all regulations and polices relevant to provider services are adhered to in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Initiate and recruit providers to participate in the child care voucher subsidy system.
• Assist in developing necessary statistical reports relative to provider services.
• Provide technical assistance and support to providers participating in the childcare voucher program.
• Communicate and collaborate with the CCCB billing, training and parent services departments to ensure efficient registration, services and support of providers participating in the voucher system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with one to three years of experience in early childhood care and education required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret and implement Massachusetts’ child care rules and regulations.
• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and Saturdays when needed.
• Knowledge of early childhood development a plus.
• Ability to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish highly preferred.
