ABCD Youth Services provides multiple programming for youth 14-24 years old. Currently 700-2000 youth are served. We receive 3000+ applications each year. 

Essential Duties:

  • Greet clients, welcoming and directing as appropriate and delivering excellent customer service in Youth Services Lobby.
  • Answer the Youth Services main phone line and departmental emails, direct calls/emails as appropriate and answer intake related questions. 
  • Responsible for the complete and accurate collection, entry, reporting and maintenance of data, records and reports related to new participants of ABCD's Youth Services Programs. 
  • Assist with implementing an intake process for all Youth Services Programs. 
  • Assist with collecting and organizing all required documentation from applicants for appropriate program enrollment and keep detailed and accurate tracking of collection of documents. 
  • Contact all prospective applicants and inform them of missing documentation and keep detailed and accurate tracking of outreach attempt. 
  • Assist with the maintenance of client eligibility files and preparing appropriate eligibility documentation for submission to funding sources.
  • Keep records of inquiries and applicants
  • Sort and distribute mail and manage office supplies
  • Maintain lobby area and all common areas in a safe and tidy manner
  • Act as an integral member of ABCD’s Youth Services team 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
     

Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School diploma/GED, and up to 12 months related experience required. 
  • Associate’s degree in education or related field preferred.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and to remain highly organized.
  • Knowledge and skill using electronic databases and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with individuals of diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Bilingual skills as needed.
